Stewart and wife Sarah are both Bryan County natives. Stewart is a graduate of Rock Creek High School and Sarah of Caddo High School both hold degrees from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. They have 2 children that attend Durant Schools, Kane who is a Junior and Kira who will be in 7th grade. The Hoffmans moved away from Bryan county for a brief time while starting careers but came back to Durant when Kane was born to raise their family here. Stewart has served on the Durant City Council including 2 years being the mayor. He has a large business background, starting his career in Safety and Occupational health. During this time he spent time in both vertical construction with large firms in DFW and also time in the railroad industry across the country. He then ran railroad construction offices in OKC and DFW before coming back to Durant to work. Stewart now is the owner of Hoffman Sanitation Services which serves Bryan and surrounding counties with trash, rolloff, portable toilets and septic service. Stewart enjoys watching both kids do their respective activities, and enjoys sports and vacationing with Sarah and family. The Hoffman’s goal is to help promote and establish Durant and Bryan county as the best place to live and raise a family.
