Sara graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a B.A. in Accounting and a M.B.A in Management. During her career, she has served in various capacities within the banking industry, including branch, operational, risk management, marketing, compliance, and project management. She is now Vice President and Fair Banking and CRA Officer for First United Bank, a $13.9 billion purpose-driven financial services organization that operates in over 95 banking centers across Oklahoma and Texas.

In her role, she oversees Fair Banking and CRA regulatory compliance in areas that include Fair Lending, UDAAP, ECOA, and the Community Reinvestment Act. What began as an opportunity straight out of college, quickly became a calling to change the landscape of banking to better serve underserved communities. 

Sara finds joy in spending time with her community and family, husband, Brent, and Son, Riker. She serves on several non-profit committees and enjoys the outdoors, cooking, painting, and diy projects.
