Gregg and his wife Krystal moved their family to Durant in 1999.  He is the father of daughters, Whitney, Kallie, Torie and sons, Will and Wesley. He is the proud Poppa of 8 grandchildren.

Gregg and Krystal met while attending college at Oklahoma Baptist University. They married in 1988. In the early years of their marriage, Gregg worked at the family business, Hausner’s Precast Inc., in Drumright, Oklahoma. After receiving the call to full-time ministry, the Engle family moved to Ralston where Gregg pastored for four years. In 1995 Gregg accepted the call as pastor at First Baptist Church Blackwell where he pastored for two and a half years.  Feeling the need to complete his degree, he resigned and returned to OBU to study Family Psychology.

In the fall of 1999, the family business expanded into the southern Oklahoma area and they chose Durant to be their new business home. After purchasing 20 acres west of town the business has flourished into one of the largest storm shelter manufactures in the country.  In January of 2020, Gregg joined the team at First United Bank where he facilitates leadership training for small business owners. He is also serving as a commissioner on The Oklahoma Ethics Commission.

In his free time he and Krystal enjoy motorcycle trips and visiting grandchildren. He also enjoys buying, restoring, and flipping classic cars.

Gregg has served on the Imagine Durant Board since inception and is passionate about transforming Durant for generations to come.
