DANIELLE O'NEAL
Danielle O’Neal came to Durant from the Oklahoma City metro in 2019. She has over 7 years of experience working within Community Development in municipalities. She has experience with and currently works with Emergency Management. Among many other talents, she has experience coordinating the implementation and update of comprehensive plans as well as hazard mitigation plans. Danielle has a passion for helping communities and making them better, safer places for everyone. Danielle holds a Master of Regional and City Planning, where her focus was on community development and hazard mitigation/disaster planning from the University of Oklahoma. Additionally, she holds a
Bachelor of Science in Geography with a Minor in Meteorology also from the University of Oklahoma. Danielle currently serves as Past-President of the American Planning Association – Oklahoma Chapter and serves on the Education and Legislative Committees. She is also a member of the Natural Hazard Mitigation Association, the Oklahoma Emergency Management Association, the American Planning Association Hazard Mitigation & Disaster Resiliency and the Community Development and Housing Division.
Danielle recently married her husband Todd in 2021 and have two children within the home. In her free time, Danielle enjoys photography, hiking and exploring new places with her family.
